A prodigious talent on the fairways of Italy, Guido always looked destined to take the game by storm. He enjoyed a glittering career in the unpaid ranks, winning the U14, U16 and U18 Italian Championships and the 2016 Portuguese Amateur. His relentless form propelled him to the top of his nation’s amateur rankings and with nowhere else to go, his natural progression saw the then teenager turn professional in 2016.
Guido flourished at his first major, the 2021 US Open where he finished in Tied 4th place. In August 2021 Guido became an Olympian after competing in the 2020 Tokyo Games. Known for his ruthless finishing ability, Guido already boasts seven professional wins, including four DP World titles with his fourth coming at the KLM Open in June 2024.
